As part of ELA’s annual research program “Capture-Mark-Recapture of the European Lobster at Praia da Aguda”, 31 tagged lobsters were released into the sea on November 24, 2023.

Since the start of the program in 2006, a total of 512 lobsters have been reintroduced, and the recapture rate is around 8.9%.
